Edgar Evernever will join Archie and the gang as the newest part of the exciting Riverdale season 3 storyline.

Riverdale season 3 will be released on 10th Ocotber 2018 and Edgar Evernever is set to become a main character alongside his daughter Evelyn.

Who is the actor playing Edgar Evernever on Riverdale?

The actor who's set to play Edgar Evernever hasn't officially been announced, but according to the casting call for the character, producers were looking for a 'Male, Late 30’s – Early 40’s, Open Ethnicity. (An actor with ‘90’s-2000’s pop-culture cachet is a plus.)'

With the show looking for an actor with old skool pop-culture respect, we might get a famous face joining the Riverdlae ranks.

According to the casting call for Edgar Evernever, 'Edgar is a new-age health “guru” who has helped Alice Cooper get her life together after the events of Season Two.' As we know, Edgar is the leader of The Farm, so his friendship with Alice Cooper may come as a surprise to fans of the show.

The Farm is the cult where Betty Cooper's sister Polly planned to run away to when she found out she was pregnant with Jason Blossom's child.

As fans will know, at the end of Riverdale season 2, Polly Cooper suggested she could help her mum Alice gain forgiveness from Hal by working with someone from The Farm, so it appears that Edge Evernever will fill that role during season 3.

Edgar Evernever's daughter is called Evelyn and she is joining Riverdale season 3 alongside her father. According to the original Archie comics, Evelyn was a shy girl who was acquainted with Archie and his friends, however, her only real friend was her doll, Minerva.
