The sequel Love, Creekwood will see the gang at college and will take place before the events of Hulu series Love, Victor.
It looks like Love, Simon fans are about to have one of the best summers ever because as well as the soon-to-be-released Love, Victor series on Hulu (the show was dropped at Disney+ over its "adult themes"), author Becky Albertalli is set to release a brand new sequel called Love, Creekwood.
Love, Creekwood will be set "during the gang's first year of college" and will take place after the events of Leah on the Offbeat and before the events of Love, Victor.
The novella will be a short one – around a third of the length of a Simonverse book – and will consist of all emails.
Albertalli also revealed that Love, Creekwood would also contain "shenanigans, exclamation points, yearning, Drunk Simon, Nostalgic Blue, Finals Week Abby, Valentine’s Day Leah, big decisions, and MUCH talk of kissing."
It will be available on 30th June, in hardcover, e-book and audio. International availability is still yet to be announced.
Me for literally years: this is the end of the Simonverse. There are no sequels coming. Never.

Albertalli also announced that all advances and royalties from the book will be going to LGBTQ youth organisation, The Trevor Project.
In the thread, she wrote: "I’m donating 100% of my English language royalty advance to @TrevorProject, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25."
"It’s hard to explain how important @TrevorProject is to me. They do the work I can’t, and they do it with such thoughtfulness, care, and commitment to research-based best practices," she continued.

In other Love, Simon-verse related news, TV series Love, Victor has been dropped at Disney+ and will instead be released on Hulu in June 2020.
THR reports that Disney believed that the "comedy featured more adult themes than it was comfortable featuring on family-focused Disney+."
Love, Victor will be set in the same universe as Love, Simon – and now Love, Creekwood – and it will follow high-school student, Victor (Michael Cimino), as he moves to a new city and struggles with his sexual orientation.
