Was Katherine Langford's character cut out of Avengers: Endgame? Fans are confused as they haven't been able to spot her in the 3 hour film.

It was revealed back in October that 13 Reason Why’s Katherine Langford had joined the cast of Avengers: Endgame in an undisclosed role. Details of her character were kept under wraps, leading fans to speculate just how important or game-changing her role in the film could be to the future of the MCU.

Avengers: Endgame has now been released and millions of fans across the world have seen the full three hour film - but no one has actually been able to spot Katherine in the final edit. According to several people on social media, she's definitely not even in it.

It was reported that Katherine had filmed her scenes before the news of her casting was announced but there's now a ton of confusion over who she was meant to play and whether or not her scenes were deleted.

Despite her role being kept under wraps, Marvel fans had a few ideas about who she might be playing in the film.

While some people thought she would be playing the grown up versions of either Ant-Man's daughter Cassie Lang or Hawkeye's daughter Lila Barton, those roles had already been cast by other actresses.

Rumours about Katherine appearing as Tony Stark and Pepper Potts' grown up child (the one that was referenced in Tony's Infinity War dream) did the rounds after Katherine posted a picture of herself with red hair. The Russo brothers later added fuel to the theory about Tony's dream, teasing that “it was a dream, but dreams are mysterious.” Gwyneth Paltrow also teased that Tony and Pepper would have a child.

Others believed that Katherine had been cast as Kate Bishop, Hawkeye’s successor. With news that Kate will also be appearing in the Hawkeye-centric TV series on Disney+, it’s entirely possible that Marvel cast a well known young actress for the part.

But so far, no one has been able to see her in the film and it's getting quite frustrating.

During an Instagram Q&A yesterday (April 25), Katherine responded to a fan question about who she plays in Avengers: Endgame.

She replied with a simple '...'

There's been no official word on what happened to Katherine in Endgame but here's hoping she shows up in one of the new Disney+ Marvel TV shows.
