13RW's Devin Druid Shared An Emotional Post About How Josh Dun Helped Him Overcome Anxiety

13 Reasons Why actor and noted TØP stan Devin Druid shared an emotional post about the time he met Josh Dun yesterday (July 11), after keeping the meeting and the subsequent photo secret for four weeks.

Twenty One Pilots returned yesterday with two new songs after a year's hiatus. Devin has made no secret of his love for Twenty One Pilots. He often tweets about the band and has even covered 'Truce' on his YouTube channel. But it turns out that he was lucky enough to meet one of his "heroes" while attending E3, a gaming convention in California.

In the caption to the photo, Devin explains that he wanted to wait until the hiatus was over before sharing the picture. He then went on to explain how the band's music and Josh's openness with his battles with anxiety helped him overcome his own problems with anxiety.

(I promised I wouldn't post until the hiatus was over!!) I met @joshuadun of @twentyonepilots about 4 weeks ago during E3! The music they've made and the messages within it have been deeply profound and helpful to me as I've been growing and struggling to identify and then cope with various things I've felt or thought. And especially seeing Josh continue to triumph over his own anxiety has been inspiring to me, and shown that I can too. He was super kind and made me feel comfortable, like I was actually being listened to and had his attention. He told me how much it meant to him that I had said everything I did, and then waved at me when I left ! So anyways, to the people who say to never meet your heroes, maybe look up to the right people-

Everyone is freaking out about the photo of Josh and Devin together and sharing their own stories about meeting Tyler and Josh.

Oh, and then somebody used the photo of them to finally settle the 'mystery' of Josh's height. Devin wasn't having any of it.

As much as we are very jealous of Devin right now, we're also grateful that he opened up about how Josh and the band's music helped him with anxiety. Legends supporting up-and-coming legends. We stan.
