The 29-year-old actor, who played Justin Russo on the Disney Channel's 'Wizards of Waverly Place', announced that he and his wife, Maria Cahill, will welcome their first child.
Congratulations are in order for former Disney Channel star David Henrie. The Wizards of Waverly Place alum announced this week that and he his wife, Maria Cahill, are expecting their first child.
David and Maria have been married since April 2017 and shared a video of what looked to be an adorably exciting gender reveal gathering.
In the video, David popped a balloon to reveal that they were having a girl and joyous celebrations rang out in the room.
Judging by the caption he wrote on Instagram, David is VERY excited to be a first time dad. "IT'S A GIRL IT'S A GIRL IT'S A GIRL. I'm a Poppa," he wrote. David also joked that he couldn't wait to sit his daughter down and tell her "a 9 season story of How I Met Your Mother".
David and Maria were immediately showered with well wishes in response to the video. His Waverly Place TV mom, Maria Canals Barrera, congratulated him, writing, "CONGRATULATIONS!!! What a blessed baby girl she is to have you both as parents!"
Some fans referenced his Waverly Place character being all grown up, which he responded to with a sense of humour.
David Henrie, played Justin Russo on Wizards of Waverly Place, which ran as a Disney Channel series from 2007 to 2012.
The 29-year-old actor and dircetor seems fully ready for fatherhood and has already grabbed the necessary dad accessories needed for the job.
