Jessie J has called out the MTV VMAs, after the commented on her Instagram post, leading her followers to believe she was performing at their ceremony, when she wasn't.
The 30-year-old singer shared a video of her rehearsal ahead of her 'THE R.O.S.E. TOUR', to which VMAs' official account replied with several emojis.
Including the sparkle and rose emoji, the VMAs' comment was left for her millions of followers to see, just hours before their ceremony took place, where surprise performers were expected. This caused her fans to comment, believing Jessie J would be there too.
Jessie J then responded, saying "No my heartbeats, I wasn't invited, and I wasn't asked to perform.
"I only presume these out of no where comments are to cause hype to get you guys to watch the show tonight. I'll take that as a compliment," continued Jessie J.
In the end, Jessie J did not make an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards, but the likes of Ariana Grande, Post Malone and Shawn Mendes all performed.
