The 'Diamonds' star's rescheduled tour show led many to complain about her lateness on Twitter.
Rihanna angered fans yesterday after they claimed she had turned up three hours late to perform in Boston, at a postponed show on her 'Diamonds' world tour.
The 'We Found Love' singer was forced to delay her show in the city this March due to a bout of laryngitis, but sparked the ire of fans on Monday (6th May) after they were left to wait three hours before she finally took to the stage.
Without any opening act to entertain them, fans at the TD Garden in Boston took to Twitter to complain about the Bajan star's lateness, with some criticising her for attending a basketball game earlier in the night which may have contributed to her late showing.
"@Rihanna just showed up over three hours late in Boston for a make-up show since she canceled a few months back due to sickness. I'm over her," Twitter user @MisterFoShaw tweeted after the show last night, while @chrismahtin posted: "@rihanna 2-3 hrs late for your show in Boston, huh??! #disrespectful #noexcuse basketball was more important huh?? Don't come back>"

Despite the backlash on Twitter Rihanna failed to comment on the reason for her lateness and insisted on her official Twitter account that the show had been an "extra special" night.
"#BOSTON I will never forget this night!!! I truly have deeper love for you now!!!" Rihanna posted. "Thank you for making it extra special!! #DWT."
This past weekend also saw Chris Brown seemingly confirming that he and Rihanna have now split up, and the R&B star said earlier today (7th May) that he is content 'loving from a distance'.
Rihanna is widely rumoured to be releasing her David Guetta collaboration 'Right Now' as the next single from her 2012 album 'Unapologetic'.
