Rihanna has been named as one of the top ten best dressed women in the world for 2012 by US publication People magazine.
The 'Where Have You Been' singer came in at number seven on the rundown, which was topped by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin's wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton just missed out on the top spot coming in at number two with the likes of actress Emma Stone, The Kardashians and supermodel Miranda Kerr all featuring in the top five.
Rihanna was commended for her unique style, which the publication said is difficult to imitate.
"It seems like her style comes from somewhere internal – that's something you can't imitate," a stylist for the publication revealed.
Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Alba and Diane Kruger were also inside the top ten which was topped last year by Blake Lively – who recently got married in secret to Ryan Reynlods.

Meanwhile, Rihanna recently confirmed plans to head out on a new 'Diamonds' world tour in early 2013.
