The 'One Thing' singer's toy has become the most sought after with bandmate Harry Styles falling to third place.
One Direction singer Niall Horan has been named the most popular member of the band after new sales figures show his personalised doll is the most sought after.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' stars unveiled a new 2012 collection earlier this year and have been tipped to become a Christmas best seller.
Amazon has now released figures from some of the early sales, seeing last year's most popular singer Harry Styles fall into third behind the Irish star and Louis Tomlinson.
"It's no longer the foppish curls of Harry but the Irish charm of Niall that seems to be a hit with One Direction fans," Amazon's Ulrike Wingenter-Davey told The Sun.
Unfortunately for Wolverhampton born singer Liam Payne, he has been named the least popular for the second year with just 14.7 per cent of the total sales coming from his doll.
Niall jumped to 25.2 per cent from last year's 17.9 per cent after the band enjoyed their most successful year in 2012.
They are set to claim their second number one album with new record 'Take Me Home' and recently confirmed details of their first ever 3D concert movie for release in August 2013.
