The 'Heart Skips A Beat' singer says he can't wait to reunite with Caroline Flack on the ITV2 series.
Olly Murs has confirmed he will be back on The Xtra Factor this year and says his decision to return to the ITV2 show was a "no brainer".
The 'Oh My Goodness' singer revealed on Twitter last week that he was in talks to return to the show alongside co-host Caroline Flack, and has promised fans they will take the show to the next level this year.
"I just felt me and Caroline had a great year last year," Olly revealed exclusively to CapitalFM.com. "Obviously the feedback from the show each week was always really really positive, so me and Caroline knew the show was a massive success and we had a right good laugh on it.
"So when deciding if we were going to come back it was a no brainer really," the 'Dance With Me Tonight' singer explained. "It was always like, 'Yep 100% want to do it again."
The 'Heart Skips A Beat' star says he is looking forward to getting back on the show, after heading over to the US this summer for several tour dates.
"Once it's all been confirmed and we know what's going on, I think we'll make sure we revamp the show again and try to do something different with it again, because I think last year we took it to a nice place and I think we need to continue the show and take it to another level."
The Xtra Factor co-host recently confirmed plans to start working on his third studio record this summer.
Olly Murs launched his latest single 'Oh My Goodness' on Sunday as the third single from his 2011 album 'In Case You Didn't Know'.
