The 'Dance With Me Tonight' singer was forced to miss some of the shows because of his solo music career.
Olly Murs has revealed it was upsetting to watch Caroline Flack presenting The Xtra Factor with various guest hosts before he rejoined for the live shows last weekend.
The 'Heart Skips A Beat' singer was forced to miss a number of shows leading up to the live launch last week due to commitments with his solo music career, and admits it was difficult to see Caroline on screen with another co-host.
"I couldn't watch when she had guest presenters on," Olly revealed to The Sun this week. "It upset me too much.
"Seeing her have fun on screen with someone else wasn't right!" he explained.

The two have had a close relationship since they joined The X Factor UK's sister show as co-hosts, but have constantly denied reports they are more than friends, and Olly says they often confide in each other about problems.
He added: "When she's upset or things have been written about her she's always been able to confide in me."
This week Olly was the victim of a prank by fellow pop stars JLS as part of Channel 4's Stand Up To Cancer event, when he was led to believe band member Aston Merrygold had been injured after he fired him out of a human cannon, until it was revealed it had all been a set-up and that Aston was completely fine.
Olly Murs' brand new single 'Troublemaker' featuring Flo Rida was added to the Capital FM playlist this week ahead of its release on 17th November.
The single will be followed by the release of Olly's new album 'Right Place Right Time' on 26th November.
