The 'Starships' rapper is reportedly set to sign a deal to land a fly on the wall style programme with the E network.
Nicki Minaj has confessed that she is "considering" an offer to star in her own reality show.
The 'Fly' star hinted that she was thinking of signing up for her own fly on the wall style show during an interview with Perez Hilton at the launch of her Pink Friday fragrance.
After initially keeping quiet about details of the project and revealing she was pondering over the prospect, she admitted that the show would give people a greater understanding of herself.
"I will say that I find the more people see, is the more they understand, and then it's the more they like you," she declared. "When you pull them in your world, they see you as a real person. I'm not running away from it anymore."
The gossip site reports that a deal is imminently close with the view for the show to air on the E! network.
Meanwhile, Nicki recently signed up to appear as a judge on the upcoming series of American Idol alongside Keith Urban, Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson.
The 'Moment 4 Life' star admitted how "honoured" she was to join the show and said it was a "milestone" for hip-hop and young black women.
