The 'Born This Way' star has recorded some "major" vocals for the 'Believe' singer's brand new studio album.
Cher has described her collaboration with Lady Gaga as "amazing".
The song, titled 'The Greatest Thing', is taken from the veteran singer's forthcoming 26th studio album, which is set to be released around Christmas.
In a message on Twitter, Cher wrote: "Think ALL SONGS R Great so Far& I'm not Big Fan!GREAT Writers!GAGA IS MAJOR&Her VOCAL IS AMAZING!KUK Heard TGTLast nite 4 1st Time & FREAKED."
Cher has been working with Justin Timberlake collaborator Timbaland on her new album.
She famously appeared on stage with Lady Gaga when the star debuted her meat dress at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in 2010.
Lady Gaga fans reacted angrily yesterday (31st July) when the 'Born This Way' star failed to pick up any nominations for this year's VMAs, which take place in September.
Rihanna and Drake lead the charge with five nominations each, while The Wanted and One Direction are both nominated for Best New Artist.
