The 'Starry Eyed' singer is back with the lead single from her new album 'Halcyon'.
Ellie Goulding has unveiled 'Anything Could Happen' as the lead single from her upcoming second studio album 'Halcyon'.
The UK singer-songwriter is preparing to release the new song next month and posted a special song lyric music video online today, compiled from over 1200 pictures sent to her by fans.
"Ahh was so nervous. Thanks for all the kind words for #anythingcouldhappen guys," Ellie tweeted this afternoon (9th August) after debuting the new song.
'Anything Could Happen' will serve as the first official release from 'Halcyon', although Ellie also released a cover of Active Child's 'Hanging On' last month featuring Tinie Tempah, as a special promotional release.

'Halcyon' follows Ellie's 2010 debut 'Lights', which has gone on to sell over five million copies across the world.
Ellie also released a trailer for the upcoming album last week, which treats fans to snippets of a handful of songs never before heard.
Ellie Goulding will release new single 'Anything Could Happen' on 30th September with ndew album 'Halcyon' to follow on 8th October.
