The 'Grenade' star is rumoured to follow Beyonce as the next performer at the iconic halftime show.

Bruno Mars is widely rumoured to be the star performer of next year's US Super Bowl halftime show.

The 'Locked Out Of Heaven' singer is expected to be announced as the 2014 halftime show star sometime in the next couple of days, after heavy rumours about his involvement.

According to both the LA Times and Billboard, Bruno is set to follow in the footsteps of recent halftime show performers like Beyonce and Madonna by putting on the performance of his career in February next year.

If the performance is confirmed, the 'Grenade' singer will have five months to prepare before he takes to the stage at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on 2nd February 2014.
