The '21' singer's Twitter account has been bombarded with negative comments following reported new arrival.
Adele has been targeted by Twitter trolls following the reported birth of her first child.
The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer is said to have given birth to a baby boy last week, but has not yet confirmed the birth.
The Sun reports that Adele has been the subject of some vile abuse on Twitter from several different users, including accusations about her new baby's weight and even threats to its life.
On Sunday (21st October), it was reported that Adele and partner Simon Konecki had welcomed their first child on Friday (19th October).
The couple are said to be "ecstatic", although spokesperson declined to comment on the birth.
Adele confirmed she was dating Simon at the start of 2012, and was more recently forced to address rumours the couple were already engaged when she took to Twitter to deny the claims.
The singer is currently working on her third studio album, the follow-up to 2011's' 21', but her record label recently confirmed it could be a number of years before it's release.
Adele returned to the charts earlier this month with her James Bond theme song 'Skyfall'.
