Adele Takes Newborn Son For A Walk In Los Angeles In Designer Baby Blanket

The 'Someone Like You' star is rumoured to be staying in Los Angeles ready for next month's Oscars ceremony.

Adele was spotted showing her newborn son the sights of Los Angeles this week and made sure the youngster was safe from the winter cold by wrapping him up in a designer multi-coloured Missoni baby blanket.

The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer was pictured out and about in the Californian city on Thursday (17th January) carrying her son, who was born in November last year.

Adele opted to go casual for her day out as a new mum and kept her hair up in a rough bun while wearing black leggings, a loose fit beige cardigan and dark sunglasses.

The 'Someone Like You' singer is widely believed to be staying in Los Angeles to prepare for her heavily rumoured performance at this year's Oscars ceremony, with the Academy Awards 2013 set to take place next month on 24th February.

Adele has already had a successful start to 2013 after picking up her first Golden Globe award last weekend in the Best Original Song category for her James Bond theme song 'Skyfall'.

The UK singer-songwriter dedicated her award to both boyfriend Simon Konecki and her son, whose name she has so far refused to reveal to the press.

Reports emerged this week that Adele is so keen to keep her son's name a secret that even Hollywood actress Jessica Alba was unable to find out what it was while sending her a congratulatory gift.

Adele is now working on her third studio album and has admitted she "can't wait" to tour the record once it's finished.
