ON AIR COMPETITION -CAPITAL NETWORK
August 2013
The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/ apply to the 'Creamfields' radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 12th August 2013 to Friday 16th August 2013. (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Capital FM Manchester, Capital FM North East and Capital FM Yorkshire & The Capital Network.
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
Details of the ON AIR Competition:
To enter this competition, entrants must:
Listen to Capital FM during the times specified below.
Entrants must text the keyword to 83958 as directed on air by the presenter(s). Across the Capital Network the keyword is MIX
On Capital Manchester the keyword is DJ
On Capital North East the keyword is FESTIVAL
On Capital Yorkshire the keyword is DANCE
The text system will not recognize any other format(s) of the keyword(s).
Text messages will be charged at £1.00 plus your standard network rate.
The opening and closing times of the competition line will be given out on air by the presenter. Entrants will have until the end of a certain artist’s song to text. If listeners text after the closing time they will not be entered but may still be charged. Global Radio is not responsible for any latency experienced by a listener’s mobile phone network which may delay the delivery of a text message to us.
The competition runs on the Capital Network from 10:00 to 22:00 weekdays.
There are extra competition rounds on Capital FM Manchester, Capital FM North East and Capital FM Yorkshire from 0600 to 1000 and 1600 to 1900 weekdays.
From all Entrants, one Entrant will be randomly selected, brought to air and awarded a prize.
The winner will be notified that they have won on air and will be required to answer their phone, talk to the presenter/s and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-‐air. If the caller doesn’t answer their phone, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, or cannot continue the call for any reason, the call may be terminated and another entrant selected at random.
Eligibility:
The winner must be 18 years of age or over and be a resident of the UK.
You can enter this competition a maximum of 3 times each round. Further entries may still be charged. Global Radio strongly advises against excessive use.
Prize Terms and Conditions:
If the winner wins in Network Time as highlighted above, they will win a 3 Day Pass to Creamfields on Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August. No travel will be included.
If the winner wins in Local Time as highlighted above, they will win a Saturday Pass to Creamfields on Saturday 24th August. No travel will be included.
If the winner wins in Local Time on Friday 16th August they will win a 3 Day Pass to Creamfields on Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August. No travel will be included.
The prize does not include travel or accommodation.
Tickets are either for Creamfields 3 Day Camping tickets or Saturday Pass. Duplicate tickets will not be issued in any circumstance.
Global Radio cannot be held responsible for any artist cancellation.
ID will be required at the event.
