Tom Holland is officially back as Peter Parker for the sequel to 'Spiderman: Homecoming', which will be released on July 5th 2019. Here's everything we know so far, including the trailer, cast, release date and leaked footage from the set.
It's official - Spider-Man: Far From Home will be released on July 5th 2019, and will take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame (released on April 26th 2019). So obviously, Peter Parker manages to survive Thanos' snap and lives to embark on a summer trip around Europe - but what drama will follow him over the summer?
Tom Holland will of course be back as Peter Parker, alongside Jacob Batalon and Zendaya as Ned and Michelle and they'll be joined by Jake Gyllenhaal, who will be playing Mysterio.
"Avengers: Endgame": Release Date, Cast, Plot, Trailers And Everything You Need To Know
Here's everything we know so far about the highly anticipated sequel to Spiderman: Homecoming...
When will Spiderman: Far From Home be released?
Spiderman: Far From Home will be released in the US on July 5, 2019. That's just a few months after Avengers: Endgame on April 26 and Captain Marvel on March 8.
What is the title of the movie?
The sequel will be called Spiderman: Far From Home, which was revealed in a "leaked" Instagram video from Tom Holland. The devil works hard but the Marvel marketing team work harder.
Who is in Far From Home? Who will be reprising their roles?
Well, Tom Holland is back on board as Peter Parker, of course. Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are also set to be reprising their roles of Michelle and Ned respectively. Marisa Tomei will also return as Aunt May and Michael Keaton's Vulture will be back to wreak more havoc.
Jake Gyllenhaal will be joining the cast as the villainous Mysterio.
There's also been rumours that casting for a new female lead has begun. Fans seem to think that she might be a new take on Gwen Stacy who Peter will meet on his European travels. Other theories suggest that we'll finally get to meet Jessica Drew aka Spider-woman.

What will happen in Far From Home?
After surviving whatever events happen in Avengers: Endgame, Peter will embark on a summer holiday around Europe. It's already been confirmed that the movie will take place in several different locations and production began shooting in London at the beginning of July.
Judging by the trailer, Peter, Ned and Michelle (and the rest of his castmates) also visit Venice, where the big showdown takes place. And also where Jake Gyllenhaal shows up as Mysterio. Tom Holland revealed at Brazil's Comic Con experience that the movie will follow Spider-Man and Mysterio as they team up to take on the Elementals.
Speaking to io9, Marvel boss Kevin Feige said: "We start filming early July. We film in London. We shot first film in Atlanta. And we shoot a lot of films in London but there’s another reason we’re shooting in London which is, yes, Spidey, of course, will spend some time in New York, but he’ll spend some time in other parts of the globe."
"The way Civil War and the fact that he went to Leipzig Airport and then has to go back to school, informed Homecoming, the two Avengers films that precede [the sequel] will greatly inform, probably even more so, the next movie."

When will Far From Home take place?
You'll remember how Homecoming picked up right after Civil War? Well... it's already been confirmed by Sony producer Amy Pascal that Spiderman: Far From Home will pick up right AFTER Avengers: Endgame.
And that obviously means that Peter will be coming "back to life" at some point during Endgame. It's not yet known how he'll go from ash to a fully fledged human again but still... GOOD NEWS!
Will there be any other Avengers in Far From Home?
Both Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) and Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) both appear in the trailer for Far From Home and it's been confirmed that Cobie Smulders will also be appearing as Maria Hill but there's no word on whether or not any more Avengers will be joining him. Of course, it all depends on what happens at the end of Avengers: Endgame. It's already been all but confirmed that there will be some permanent deaths in the fourth Avengers movie judging by the intense synopsis of the film.
Tom Holland has already been spotted filming an emotional scene on location in London - could he be upset about the potential death of someone close to him? Sayyyyy, his mentor Tony Stark perhaps?
