Is Jacob Elordi in The Kissing Booth 2? Here's everything we know about the Netflix rom-com sequel so far...
Cancel your plans, fire up your Netflix accounts and get ready because it's now been confirmed that the sequel to Netflix's huge hit teen rom-com The Kissing Booth is officially in the works!
Announced in February 2019 by stars Joey King and Joel Courtney (who played Elle and Lee respectively), the sequel will also bring back Jacob Elordi as our fictional boyfriend Noah Flynn, as well as introduce a bunch of new characters that could change the dynamic between Elle and Noah as we know it.
The latest news about The Kissing Booth 2? Filming has officially wrapped and will hitting our Netflix accounts at some point in 2020. The film also added two new characters that will have a huge effect on Elle and Noah's relationship. Sounds like their long-distance romance will be put to the test.
So far, there is no exact confirmed date but filming has officially wrapped which means it won't be long until it hits Netflix.
It sounds like the film will be based off the upcoming sequel to the original novel, which was written by Beth Reekles. According to Reekles, The Kissing Booth 2: Going The Distance became available to read in January 2020.
The Kissing Booth was released in May 2018, so expect the film to drop around Summer 2020.

According to the synopsis of The Kissing Booth 2: Going The Distance, Noah and Elle's relationship is about to get 10 times more complicated thanks to their new long distance status. Noah is now at Harvard and Elle is completing her senior year at high school with Lee.
The synopsis for the upcoming book reads: "Elle Evans seems to have finally tamed hotter-than-hot bad boy Noah Flynn, but now they're facing a new challenge. Noah's 3,000 miles away at Harvard, which means they're officially a long-distance couple - and it's tough.
After all, there's only so much texts and calls can satisfy - and when Elle sees a post which suggests Noah's getting friendly with someone else, she's devastated. On top of that, it's hard to ignore new boy Levi. He's gentle, sweet, cute - and definitely interested in Elle. With her heart on the line, what's a girl to do?"
There may be several small elements in the film that differ from the book (like 'Levi' now being called 'Marco') but the storyline will likely take a similar shape.
Oh, and just incase you were wondering... there will be more Dance Dance Revolution battles too. Joey King revealed to the LA Times that they're even more intense than before: "It is so intense and the first movie you thought we had hard DDR, well, just you freaking wait for the second one," she said.
So far, all your faves are returning to reprise their roles in the film. Joey King will be back as Elle Evans alongside Joel Courtney as Lee Flynn, Noah's younger brother and Elle's best friend.
Jacob Elordi will return as Noah Flynn and Molly Ringwald will be back for more scenes as Lee and Noah's mother.
Joining the cast for the sequel are Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Taylor Perez, both playing new characters who end up putting a bit of a strain on Noah and Elle's long-distance relationship.
IMDb also lists Meganne Young, who played Lee's girlfriend Rachel, as a returning cast member.
