A-Rod has now backtracked on his original comments.
Kylie Jenner has addressed A-Rod's claims that she was bragging about being a billionaire at the 2019 Met Gala. In case you're not up to speed, A-Rod – born Alex Rodriguez – Is a former professional baseball player and is currently engaged to Jennifer Lopez.
Kylie Jenner 'in talks' to sell Kylie Cosmetics for a HUGE amount of money
Both Kylie and A-Rod attended the Met Gala in May and they happened to be seated at the same table. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, A-Rod then made some unflattering claims about the conversation at dinner.
A-Rod said how "great" his star-studded table was and described the guests he was seated with. "The black guy from The Wire – Idris Elba, yeah, and his new wife," he explained. "Some famous singer next to me, I don’t know what her name is. Versace – Donatella. We had Kylie and Kendall. And we had an Asian gentleman from Rich Asians, the lead. Kylie was talking about Instagram and her lipstick, and how rich she is." Oop…
So, it would seem Ms Jenner wasn't too happy about A-Rod's comments and she cleared them up pretty quickly on Twitter. "Umm no i didn't," she tweeted in response to a People magazine article. "We only spoke about Game of Thrones." Well, then.
Umm no i didn’t. We only spoke about Game of Thrones 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ https://t.co/EnItnYlq0R

Of course, A-Rod didn't want to feel the wrath of the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan (we all saw what happened with Jordyn Woods on Keeping Up With The Kardashians…), so he backtracked on his original comments and kind of, sorta-ish apologised.
He tweeted: "OMG, that’s right, @KylieJenner!! It was me talking about you and your makeup line and how much my girls love you. #GOT #Respect #AllLove." Ah, it's all coming back to him now!

So, there you have it. Probably one of most unlikely and shortest pieces of celeb drama of 2019.
