Dove Cameron spills all her secrets in the PopBuzz Tower of Truth
Did you know that 99% of pop stars don't know how to play Jenga? Nor did we until we started playing the Tower of Truth with the likes of Why Don't We, Ava Max and now, our darling, Dove Cameron.
Dove, who is set to appear in a production of The Light in the Piazza in London this June, visited our studio to tell us about the show and play a very special game of Jenga (because, why not?). Despite reassuring us that she does indeed know the rules, she clearly did not, as you will see very shortly. We tried our best folks but ultimately she's Dove Cameron, and if she wants to stack the bricks in the wrong way or just throw them on the floor, then she's gonna do it. And that's that on that.
Dove Cameron slams "cruel messages" following her recent hospitalisation
The Tower of Truth has a reputation for getting the tea and she really didn't disappoint this time. Dove revealed that she has "nine songs coming out" (*scream*) and that one of her favourite lyrics from that batch of tracks includes the line, "the colours look different, foreign and beautiful". Dove explained that the lyric was about feeling sad, "but there's a beauty in sadness. Maybe you're somewhere different, maybe you're feeling really lost. But it's foreign and beautiful, and you're comfortable. I love that. It just hits me in a way that really makes sense to me about sadness." Honestly? Same.
Dove also described the sound of her new music in three words. But you're gonna have to watch the video if you want that tea, henny.
It wasn't all about her new music. Dove told us about her very first celebrity crush and we were very shook to discover that it was...wait for it...Jack Skellington from A Nightmare Before Christmas. Yep. Whatever works for you, Dove! Who are we to judge?
Dove also shared with us her favourite music right now (St Vincent and Bishop Briggs), the worst date she's EVER been on, and a full, very detailed explanation of the meaning behind all her tattoos. Honestly, this whole game gave us life.
Watch the Tower of Truth video with Dove Cameron at the top of this page, and then head to our YouTube channel to see many more celebrities try and fail to play a game of Jenga. You won't regret it, we promise.
