Demi Lovato Teased About Kissing One Direction's Niall Horan By Simon Cowell – Video

The music mogul tells the X Factor judge to stay away from the Irish star as he talks about the pair's relationship.

Demi Lovato can be seen being asked whether or not she has kissed One Direction singer Niall Horan by Simon Cowell in a behind the scenes clip from the new series of the X Factor USA.

The 'Skycraper' singer turns to the music mogul to say that she had been speaking with the 'What Makes You Beautiful' singer and he passed on a "hello" to Simon.

Sipping his tea and pausing with eyes wide open, Simon responds: "From One Direction? Keep away from him – he's pure."

A shocked Demi, continues: "Excuse me? I'm not looking for anything. I'm not going to date anybody for a whole year and I made that clear to him."

This leads Simon to enquire further as he poses the question: "Have you kissed him?"

Demi laughs and says no before joking about the situation.

The Disney star and ther boy band singer have been linked with dating rumours ever since the Irish singer admitted they had shared several conversations on Skype.

They reportedly met up in secret this past week as well following the MTV Video Music Awards 2012.

Meanwhile, the new series of The X Factor USA will air tomorrow (12^th September) and features Britney Spears at the judges seat.

It was rumoured earlier this month that Justin Bieber had also signed on board in a mentor role for the music reality show.
