The 'Marry The Night' singer says she is dieting but feels good about her body right now.

Lady Gaga has spoken out about recent reports on her weight and admits that while she has "put on 25 pounds" she doesn't care and is enjoying not having to be on "such a strict diet constantly".

The 'Born This Way' singer is currently taking her world tour across Europe, and has addressed tabloid claims that she has put on weight recently by insisting that she is on a new diet but likes getting to enjoy good food.

"I'm dieting right now, because I gained like 25 pounds," Lady Gaga revealed to US radio host Elvis Duran. "And you know I really don't feel bad about it, not even for a second.

"I have to be on such a strict diet constantly," the 'Marry The Night' singer explained. "It's hard because it's a quite vigorous show, so I tend to bulk up, get muscular, and I really don't like that.

"So I'm trying to find a new balance," she added.

The 'You & I' star went on to explain that she loves enjoying food, partly because of her Italian heritage and her father owning a restaurant in New York City.

"I love eating pasta and pizza," Gaga explained. "I'm a New York Italian girl. My father opened a restaurant. It's so amazing, it's so freaking delicious, but I'm telling you I gain five pounds every time I go in there."

Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way Ball' continues Saturday (22nd September) at the Stade De France in Paris, before heading on to South America in October.
