The 'Grown Woman' star says she always strives to be respected more and entertain people.
Beyonce says she is feels she has "worked harder" than anyone else she knows to get to where she wants to be in life.
The 'XO' star has opened up about he career goals and ambitions in a new video all about her newly launched album 'Beyonce'.
"I worked harder than probably anyone I know to get those things," Beyonce explains in the new promo. "But nothing feels like my child saying, 'Mommy!'
"Nothing feels like when I look my husband in the eyes, Nothing feels like I'm respected," she continues. "When I get on the stage and see I'm changing people's lives.
Those are the things that matter, and at this point in my life, that's what I'm striving for," Beyonce added.
In the same promo Beyonce named the message of the album as being "enjoy your life, it's short".
Beyonce kicks off a new 2014 UK tour next year to support the record, with new dates being added this week after the first batch sold out.
