As soon as Young Royals debuted on Netflix in 2021, it immediately became an international sensation. Viewers couldn't get enough of the dramatic love story between scholarship student Simon (Omar Rudberg) and Swedish prince Wilhelm (Edvin Ryding). Season 1 ends with Simon seemingly ending his relationship with Wilhelm after their sex tape goes viral online.

Will our faves get back together though? Well, we're just hours away from finding out. Young Royals season 2 comes out on November 1st and, as always, Netflix will release the show simultaneously around the world at midnight Pacific Time. What will happen in Young Royals season 2?

Season 1 ends with Wilhelm denying that it was him in the sex tape with Simon. He then tells Simon that he loves him and asks to date him in private. However, it appears that Simon is not interested in having a secret relationship with Wilhelm. Based on the trailer for season 2, it looks as though Simon may try to find love elsewhere in season 2.

As for August, it remains to be seen if Simon will find out that he filmed the sex tape. If so, August could end up facing jail time if Simon presses charges against him. It's also probably only a matter of time before Simon, Felice and the rest of Hillerska find out about August and Sara's secret relationship.

Will Wilhelm and Simon end up together? You'll have to watch season 2 to find out.
