Joe Goldberg and Love Quinn are coming back to Netflix for You season 3.
It's official. You season 3 is coming to Netflix and Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti are both coming back to the hit series.
It's no secret that You is a huge success. The popular Netflix show follows fictional stalker, Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), his relationships and his terrifying, murderous escapades. Season 1 sees Joe become infatuated with struggling literary student Beck (Elizabeth Lail). Meanwhile, season 2 sees him fall dangerously love with aspiring chef Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti).

Season 2 left fans wanting answers and now it's been officially confirmed that Netflix has renewed You for another season.
Variety confirmed the news today (Jan 14) writing: "Season 3 will consist of 10 episodes and is slated to debut in 2021. Stars Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti are confirmed to reprise their roles in the new season." They also reported that "series co-creators Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti will return as executive producers, with Gamble also returning as showrunner."
While this sadly means that You season 3 won't arrive on Netflix this December, like with previous seasons, we can finally rest assured that more Joe Goldberg content is coming our way. Sadly that's all we know for certain right now but Sera has already teased what's in store for us in season 3 and it sounds like we've got an even more wild ride ahead.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about season 3, Sera said: "I think to me, the most important thing about that last scene is just it is confirmation that Joe is still Joe in a way that's not going to be great for Joe. That he has not learned that he cannot just keep looking for the next person to attach his hopes and dreams to that way. I
She added: "It seems clear that he's falling into some version of that same pattern. I can't say that we know exactly what a season three would be, but I can say things won't go well for Joe."
Sera also hinted that Ellie could be pivotal in thwarting Joe. She explained: "Part of the fun of Joe is that he is not very good at doing bad things. He doesn't plan them well. He doesn't execute them perfectly like a mastermind. And so there is always the worry that things from his past are going to catch up with him. What's great about that is it creates a landscape for the show where you do get to revisit your favourite characters moving forward."
She continued: "Ellie is still in Joe's life. He's sending her money. She hates him, but he is sending her money. So that door remains open for us. And as you saw in season two, I mean Beck was dead and she came back. One of my favourite things to do is bring back a dead person to haunt you. So the door is wide open for everybody's favourite characters."
BRING ON SEASON 3!
