Amita Suman plays Inej Ghafa in Shadow and Bone, a member of Kaz Brekker’s gang of thieves. Amita is a Nepali-born actress who moved to the UK when she was a child. Her first TV role was in Casualty, followed by appearances in Ackley Bridge and Doctor Who. In 2019, she played Naya in season 2 of The Outpost. Shadow and Bone is her biggest TV role to date.
