16. Regé-Jean Page did not appear in Bridgerton season 2
Regé-Jean Page will not be appearing in Bridgerton season 2, despite the fact that his character, the Duke of Hastings, appears briefly in the second Bridgerton book. Simon will still exist in the Bridgerton world, but viewers will likely not get to see him again. Phoebe Dynevor will return as Daphne Bridgerton, however. On his departure, Shonda Rhimes said: "I think that he was really smart to leave the perfection as the perfection.” [Netflix]
