Onward was released in cinemas on March 6th and is set to stream on Disney+ on April 3rd. Here's how to watch it online.
Following the coronavirus quarantines and the resulting closures of entertainment businesses like cinemas and theatres, online streaming services have been coming through with the goods for all of us.
Last week, Disney announced that it would be making Frozen 2 available for digital download and Disney+ streaming months earlier than expected, and now, they're doing the same thing for Onward.

Onward will be available on Movies Anywhere and for digital download on Friday 20th March at 5pm ET/8pm PT. The download is expected to cost $19.99. The movie will then be available to stream on Disney+ from April 3rd.
The Tom Holland and Chris Pratt fronted Pixar movie was released in cinemas two weeks ago, just before countries starting implementing quarantines and social distancing guidelines.
In a statement, director Dan Scanlon and producer Kori Rae said: “While we’re looking forward to audiences enjoying our films on the big screen again soon, given the current circumstances, we are pleased to release this fun, adventurous film to digital platforms early for audiences to enjoy from the comfort of their homes."

So far, Disney have pushed back the release dates for both Mulan and Marvel's Black Widow, but it's unlikely that you'll see either of those on streaming services before they hit the big screen.
Onward joins the likes of Birds of Prey, The Invisible Man and Emma which have all been made available for early digital download. Trolls: World Tour is also set to be made available for digital download on the same day it's scheduled to be released in cinemas.
