One Day at a Time has been saved by CBS affiliated Pop TV which will broadcast season 4 on their network. One Day at a Time was cancelled by Netflix in March due to low viewing figures, according to the platform.
One Day at a Time has been saved following a lengthy campaign to rescue the beloved Netflix sitcom from cancellation. The series has been revived by CBS-owned network Pop who will air season 4 of One Day at a Time in 2020.
Shortly after One Day at a Time premiered its third season, Netflix announced that it would not be renewing the series for a fourth. Fans and the show's stars expressed disappointment at Netflix's decision, after they told fans in March that not enough people had watched the series to justify another season.
One Day at a Time was known for tackling subjects like mental health, LGBTQ+ issues, immigration, and bullying. The show told stories from the perspective of a Cuban American family, which fans saw as a huge breakthrough for representation of the Latinx community.
Viewers were disappointed when the series was cancelled and rallied to save the show with the #SaveOneDayAtATime and #SaveOODAT hashtags.

And we’d especially like to thank all of the fans for their undying support, helping us turn #SaveODAAT into #MoreODAAT," said Gloria Calderón Kellett and Mike Royce, producers and co-showrunners for One Day at a Time.
The show's cast and crew reacted to the news that One Day at a Time had been saved.
Justina Machado, Rita Moreno, and Isabella Gomez all celebrated the renewal.
