'Drivers license’ is Olivia Rodrigo’s debut single as an artist. She co-wrote it with Dan Nigro. In the lyrics, Olivia pines over an ex who has since moved on from her. Discussing the meaning with ET Canada, Olivia said: "When I came up with 'drivers license', I was going through a heartbreak that was so confusing to me, so multifaceted…putting all those feelings into a song made everything seem so much simpler and clearer.'
