Whose idea was it to make the NIght King a style and beauty icon?
The Battle of Winterfell on Game of Thrones marked one of the most dramatic and fulfilling episodes of the show's entire run. Prophecies were fulfilled, many fought heroically to the bitter end, and the Night King's nails were, honestly, a mood.
Warning: Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3 spoilers ahead.
Yep, amid the chaos and confusion of the Battle of Winterfell, people happened to notice that the Night King was sporting a full set of acrylics from what appeared to be a very talented nail tech.
The Night King must have thought he had the battle in the bag because those are not fighting nails.
Night KING? Honey have you seen those nails? More like Night YAAAS QUEEN 💅🏽 #GOT #GameofThrones pic.twitter.com/ZP9HsYj5RR

The Night King had on some beautiful almond shaped acrylic nails. WHO IS HIS TECH

But even a full set of acrylics couldn't save the Night King. Arya Stark dutifully came through and did the damn thing, putting an end to the White Walkers' march south once and for all.
You may have noticed that a few other villains have longer than necessary nails in film and television. Take Voldemort, for example, who also apparently had a go-to nail technician.
Now, that the Night King is done and dusted, I'd like some behind the scenes commentary on the creative decision to make him a beauty and style icon.
