Believe it or not, Thing is a real hand and is actually played by a real actor, much like he is in the '90s Addams Family movies. Victor Dorobantu plays Thing, and had to don a blue suit in every scene so he could be digitally removed in post-production. Victor himself is actually a magician, and Wednesday is his first acting role. [Netflix]
