Friends, gather round...for Netflix is about to drop another rom com in our laps. Tall Girl (arriving on the streaming service on Friday September 13th) will follow the story of Jodi, a 6ft 1 high school student who is picked on because of her height. 2. Ava Michelle plays Jodi Kreyman in Netflix's Tall Girl
Jodi is played by 17-year-old Ava Michelle - and yes, she is that tall in real life (duh!). If you're a Dance Moms fan, you'll recognise Ava from the show. She appeared in 18 episodes from 2014-2017. She was brutally cut by Abby Lee Miller, mostly due to her height. (Rachel Luna/WireImage)

3. Luke Eisner plays Stig in Netflix's Tall Girl
Tall Girl is the first major role for newcomer Luke (who plays foreign exchange student Stig), who is also a model and a musician.
