7. Does Manu Rios play a gay character in Elite?
Manu Rios stars as Patrick in Elite and Patrick is gay. In season 4, he is part of a same-sex throuple with Ander and Omar and he then goes on to date Iván. Manu has never publicly labeled his own sexuality but he does use his platform to call out homophobic language. In 2017, he tweeted: "people who use "gay" as an insult are so sad lol”. [Netflix]
