That's not a picture of Peter and Lara Jean, it's a picture of Noah Centineo and Lana Condor.
Netflix's To All The Boys is back, baby. P.S. I Still Love You dropped today (Feb 12) and already, we've been plunged back into our feelings about Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky. (And John Ambrose McClaren... he really did deserve better.)
Lana Condor and Noah Centineo are back at it again with their adorable selves and brilliant performances as our beloved Covinsky.
In the sequel to the first film, P.S. I Still Love You sees both Lara Jean and Peter deal with several changes in their lives but one thing remains a constant: Lara Jean's iPhone lock screen.

Yes, friends, there is an adorable story behind the photo used as Lara Jean's lock screen and honest to god, it will destroy you emotionally and physically.
In P.S. I Still Love You, we get another brief glimpse at Lara Jean's lock screen. Back in 2018, fans began to wonder about where the picture had actually come from, because we don't see it in the film. Thanks to director Susan Johnson, we know the real story behind the photo.
Turns out, that scene wasn't in the film because it wasn't a scene in the film. It was actually just a photo of Noah and Lana napping together in between takes.
Speaking to ETOnline, Johnson explained the story behind how that photo came to be Lara Jean's lock screen:
"I can tell you. I don’t think this will blow any magic in telling you what happened with that," said Johnson. "That was actually one of our crew members who took that photo. The two of them were in the green room on set at the high school location, in the area where we put the actors.
They actually were sleeping on the couch in that room like that, so we just stood over them and took that picture and it’s so friggin’ cute. So yeah, we just borrowed it from our crew member. (Laughs.) There wasn’t [a scene]. I could make something up but I actually think it’s cute that they hang out like that."

what she means: THIS WHOLE TIME WE THOUGHT THE LOCK SCREEN WAS SCRIPTED WHEN IN REALITY LANA AND NOAH WERE JUST NAPPING AND CUDDLING ON THE COUCH AND FOR WHAT?? HOW DO I GO ON WITH MY LIFE??
THIS IS NOT A DRILL!! The lock screen Lara Jean has on her phone of her and Peter Kavinsky sleeping wasn’t a scene but instead was a real photo of them a crew member took💗💓💕💖💓💗💓💖💓💓#ToAllTheBoysIveLovedBefore pic.twitter.com/tWktMugk7G

If you didn't know, Lana and Noah share the purest off-screen friendship. The pair often drop cute comments on each other's Instagram posts and even the story of what happened the first time they met is cute AF.
But that lil' phone screen easter egg? The cutest yet.
