Kitty Is The Best Character In "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" And That's The Tea

Ever since To All The Boys I've Loved Before dropped on Netflix, the internet has been obsessed with Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky, both separately and together, as the most perfect teen rom-com couple of all time. From Lara Jean's relatable AF experience as a high school student, to Peter's charm, wit and outrageously offensive smile, everyone has been hooked.

But it's time we faced facts, ladies and gentlemen. Yes, Peter is our dream boyfriend. Yes, Lana is the best friend we always wanted in high school but the real MVP of this damn whole damn roadshow is Kitty Covey, Lara Jean's little sister.

The role of Kitty is expertly played by 15-year-old Canadian actress Anna Cathcart. If you're a big Disney channel fan, you'll have also seen her in Descendants 2. She's set to reprise her role of Dizzy Tremaine in Descendants 3 next year - and hopefully will reprise her role as Kitty in the sequel to To All The Boys.

So, why is Kitty the best? Let's just consider the facts here for a second: Forget about the reason why Kitty released the letters in the books, ok? Without movie Kitty, Lara Jean would still be stuck at home on a Saturday night with her baby sister watching The Golden Girls and moping over her sister's ex-boyfriend. Without movie Kitty, Lara Jean might have never have found out how much Peter actually did like her. Without movie Kitty, we would all be nothing. She is, truly, the little sister we never had but all deserve.

And you know what, the internet unanimously agrees.
