7. Kit Connor plays Nick Nelson in Heartstopper
Kit Connor plays main character Nick Nelson in Netflix’s Heartstopper series. Based on Alice Oseman’s bestselling graphic novel, Nick is a 16-year-old, rugby playing student who ends up falling in love with Charlie Spring. Kit originally auditioned to play Charlie. He told Radio Times: "I thought, 'There's no chance I'm going to get it,' because physically there's nothing about me that could fit this character, but then luckily there was Nick that I could sort of slot into quite well."
