"The paparazzi would lay on the ground to try and get a picture of you, up your dress."
Kim Kardashian has been extremely open about all areas of her life over the years through her reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but now she's revealing all about a time that the paparazzi seriously invaded her privacy and crossed the line.

Kim admitted that she had been a victim of upskirting during a tell-all interview for E! True Hollywood Story: Who is Kim Kardashian West, which will air on E! on 13 October.
Upskirting is the act of taking a picture underneath a person's skirt or dress without their consent. It is usually occurs in a public place, making it harder to see if someone is taking the photos.
In the UK, upskirting is a criminal offence punishable by up to two years in prison. The law only came into action on 12 April 2019 following an 18 month campaign by writer and activist Gina Martin, who was upskirted herself whilst at a music festival in 2017.
Kim explained that the incident occurred during her friendship with Paris Hilton. In the 00s, the socialites were popular on the Los Angeles club scene and the paps would often lie on the ground to take photos up their skirts.
"I remember we were sitting in her SLR Mercedes," she explained. "And the doors flip up this way. And at that point, the paparazzi would lay on the ground to try and get a picture of you, up your dress, and she said, 'Okay. We need to make sure you don’t give them that.'"
Kim went on to reveal a disgusting remark a photographer said to her. He said: "So you don't want anybody to see your pussy?"
During the early and mid 00s, upskirting young celebs like Paris and Kim was common practice. Paparazzi would target women like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears and sell the photos to the highest bidder. It was a disgusting invasion of privacy that rightfully no longer flies with the mainstream media.

Despite the obvious negatives that came with fame back then, Kim credited Paris for her success.
She continued: "[Paris] was such a great mentor for me. I really am grateful for my experiences with her... She’s a huge, huge reason of my success."
