And now we can all sleep well knowing exactly how Kim Kardashian's sink works.

When Kim Kardashian decided to open the doors of her Calabasas mansion for Vogue, she probably didn't expect it would ignite a heated debate… about her sink.

In Vogue's 73 Questions video, Kim showed off her sprawling bathroom, which has a giant square tub and basin-less sinks. Kim described the design of her natural-hued house as a "minimal monastery" and she's not wrong because it's literally empty.

The sinks were a baffling topic on Twitter. Where does the water go? Is it functional? How does Kim even brush her teeth?!

Well, Kim has finally explained the science behind her bathroom sinks on her Instagram Story.

"Okay, so, since everyone is a little bit confused about our sinks I thought I would show you guys a little tour of our bathroom," she began, panning the camera around the ridiculously large room, complete with a bathtub big enough for North, Saint and Chicago.

"Kanye drew this," she explained. "Kanye, Axel Vervoordt and Claudio Silvestrin kind of all did this sink and Claudio was the one that said it should be separated from the wall because it used to up against the wall, but we thought it would be cooler this way.

"So eight versions of this prototype sink was made and it does actually slightly slope down that you can kind of see. And there's a slit for the water. You can put it on as high pressure as you want and no back splash."

Wow, a bathroom has never called me broke before...

Kim went on to show the other cool design features her house had, including a TV that erected straight from the floor and minimal light switches.
