Joey King Will Play A Pregnant Teen In Season 4 Of 'Life In Pieces'

The actress who played Elle in 'The Kissing Booth' is headed back to television on the CBS sitcom.

Joey King has had an incredible year by most people's standards. The release of Netflix's The Kissing Booth in the spring followed by Slender Man in the summer meant that fans of the 19-year-old star got to see plenty of her in two highly buzzed about films.

Joey King does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon, either. The actress is headed to TV in a reoccurring role on season 4 of Life In Pieces.

According to TVLine, Joey will play a pregnant 17-year-old girl named Morgan who chooses to give her baby up for adoption. Oooh, is anyone else getting some Juno vibes here?

In the comedy, Joey's character will entrust her baby to Matt and Colleen (played by Thomas Sadoski and Angelique Cabral). Joey joins her real life sister Hunter King, who is already a series regular on the show as Clementine Hughes.

Joey has plenty lined up in addition to her upcoming role on Life In Pieces. Joey will soon begin work on The In Between, an upcoming film about a girl who loses her boyfriend in a tragic accident but soon feels he is trying to connect with her from the other side.

Look out for her in Between Earth and Sky as well, due out later this year.

Life In Pieces will start season 4 as a part of CBS' midseason schedule, so keep an eye out for Joey King as pregnant 17-year-old Morgan in early 2019.
