33 of the best tweets and memes from the Golden Globes 2019

From Amy Adams being robbed (again) to Lady Gaga's iconic "100 people in a room" speech, here are all the funniest memes from the night.
The 2019 Golden Globes took place last night (Jan 6) in Los Angeles marking the start of this year's award season and the start of yet another disappointing year for our beloved - and continually robbed - Amy Adams. (Seriously, WHAT does she have to do to get you people to listen?!)
Throughout the show, there were some shock wins (Glenn Close winning over Lady Gaga, can you BELIEVE?!), some hilarious gags (Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg's "100 people in a room" joke) and even some surprise red carpet guests, most notably the girl who was carrying Fiji water all night and slipping into the background of almost every glam shot. An icon.
But as we all know with the Golden Globes, the best part of the night is not the show, it's not the dresses, it's actually the memes. And Twitter came prepared this year. From E! News calling The Good Place's Jameela Jamil the wrong name, right down to Christian Bale's real accent, here are all the best memes and tweets from the night.
Hosts Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg started the night by roasting Lady Gaga's now infamous "100 people in a room" speech and she absolutely LOVED IT.

People just realised that Christian Bale was British despite him literally winning several awards almost every year.

I like watching an actor spend their entire career doing American accents and the second they win award it’s like “FANK YOU AND FANK ‘VYONE ‘HO ‘ELPED ME”

The Fiji water lady taught us that while you may never be a celebrity, you can ALWAYS lurk smugly in the background of someone else’s moment.
