Arya and Gendry reunited for the first time since season 3 in the premiere of Game of Thrones season 8... but will they end up together in the final season?
Game of Thrones is known for its epic battles, raunchy sex scenes and gory deaths - and because of this, fans have become accustomed to not getting their way when it comes to other storylines.
But, as started being the case in season 7, show creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss have allowed faithful fans of the show a few moments of sweetness.
The season 8 premiere, entitled 'Winterfell', offered a lot of fan service - including some long-awaited reunions.

For the first time since season 1, Jon Snow, Sansa, Arya and Bran shared screen time. We also saw Sansa and Tyrion Lannister together for the first time since Joffrey's death in season 4.
GoT fans, however, were more focused on the long-awaited reunion between Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Gendry Baratheon (Joe Dempsie) - and, more to the point, their seemingly flirtatious banter. Will they finally hook up in season 8?
As viewers will recall, Gendry (Robert Baratheon's bastard son), met Arya at King's Landing, when they were both trying to escape from Cersei and Joffrey's wrath.
King Joffrey, being the evil madman he was, gave orders for the Kingsguard to slaughter all of Robert's bastard children, in order to protect his claim to the Iron Throne. The irony is, Joffrey himself was the bastard of Cersei and her brother Jaime.
Joffrey had also just killed Ned Stark, so it was a wise decision for Arya to escape, so she couldn't be used as a bargaining chip against her brother Robb, who had claimed the title of King of the North.
Arya and Gendry then spend some time on the road together, as they pretend to be prisoners of Lannister soldier, Polliver, whom Arya later kills. They also travel with Hot Pie, and their friendship grows from there.
The pair part ways, however, when Gendry decides he wants to stay with the Brotherhood Without Banners.

Gendry, who had been raised as a blacksmith in King's Landing, had been put to work, creating weapons out of the dragonglass Jon and Ser Davos mined at Dragonstone in season 7.
Arya spots Gendry while he's sweating over the hot forge, making The Hound a huge dragonglass axe. While she's not best pleased to see The Hound alive, she does break into an honest smile when she sees her old pal.
The scene - which is too cute - sees Arya first compliment Gendry's forging skills, telling him he's "gotten better". Gendry then bashfully responds: "So have you."
Realising how his comment comes across, he adds: "I mean, you look...good."
The two then try and get over their awkward, but sweet, little exchange, moving on to business: weapons and war. For old times' sake, Gendry refers to Arya as "Lady Stark" and "M'lady", before Arya shows him a drawing of the weapon she wishes him to make for her.

While most fans are shipping Arya and Gendry's romance (I mean, the poor girl has spent more time alone than any other character), some are questioning the age gap between the two.
In season 1, Arya Stark is supposed to be 11 - meaning she is now around 18 years old.
Gendry's age, on the other hand, has never been confirmed - in both the show or the books.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Joe Dempsie said: "I think it's implied in the books that there might be a romantic element to the relationship, and in the books I think the characters are significantly closer in age.
"I know from my personal experience, when we were filming the earlier seasons and people would ask about that and talk about that, I would feel slightly uncomfortable.
"I'm acting alongside a child here. I was a 25-year-old man. I sometimes found that question a little hard to address and a little tricky to answer."
IRL, Joe Dempsie is now 31 years old, and Maisie Williams is 22.
