Sabrina's Gavin Leatherwood opens up about his first kiss with Kiernan Shipka

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina fans know that the show can get a bit steamy from time to time. The characters are unbound by conventional ideas of morality, after all. There's plenty of kissing to be had on the set and, in a recent interview, CAOS star Gavin Leatherwood opened up about his first kiss with his Sabrina co-star, Kiernan Shipka.
Speaking to ET, 24-year-old Gavin Leatherwood revealed that he was "incredibly nervous" about kissing his CAOS co-star. Gavin was so nervous that, when he arrived to set on the day, he knocked on Kiernan's trailer door and "planted a smooch" on her.

According to Gavin, Kiernan was "receptive" to the kiss, but he still explained his reasoning to her, saying,"i'm sorry, I just had to get that out of the way. My heart is pounding. I'm shaking and I just didn't want that to be awkward on screen for the first time."
Well! That's one way to prepare for your first on screen kiss with a co-star.
Of course, Sabrina and Nick get much closer on screen than a mere kiss. In season 2 episode 3, the characters participate in "Lupercalia" festivities, which has some very spicy undertones (and overtones).
In the same clip from ET, Ross Lynch casually mentions that he and Kiernan kissed 30 times on set one day. So, what's our take away? There's a lot of kissing happening on the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina set.
