Who would cast as your live-action Hercules and the five iconic Muses?

While the remake is not yet official, The DisInsider claims that talks to bring the animated classic to life in a live-action remake are underway.
The site writes, "The film is expected to be a theatrical release, not a Disney+ original like Lady and the Tramp, as well as Robin Hood and Lilo & Stitch both in pre-production. The film is expected to feature songs from the original animated film, with new ones likely being added."
The site also reports that the names of several big directors are being thrown around, including Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean), the Russo Brothers (who have directed four Marvel movies) and Jon Favreau, who has already directed two Disney live-action films. The DisInsider stressed that none of these names were currently in talks with the studio.
No casting rumours were detailed either but fans have been hard at work for years speculating over who would be perfect to play each role in the film.
Talk of a Hercules live-action remake has been swirling around Hollywood for quite some time.
Back in 2019, there were rumours that Disney were planning on announcing the adaptation at D23 expo. Alexander Ludwig was rumoured to have the role of Hercules, with Amber Heard as Meg and Benedict Cumberbatch as Hades. Nothing about that has been mentioned since.
Recently, interest in the live-action remake spiked again when Ariana Grande performed Megara's song 'I Won't Say (I'm In Love)' from the film for the Disney Family Singalong. Fans have even started a petition for her to be cast in the role.
Both Rome Flynn (How To Get Away With Murder) and Amber Riley (Glee) have thrown their names into the ring to be considered for the roles of Hercules and one of the Muses, respectively.
