Will Evan Peters return for American Horror Story's tenth season?
Back in April 2019, Evan Peters confirmed that he would not be returning for American Horror Story season 9. Since then, fans have been wondering whether or not he would just be skipping the one season (like he said) or if he would be leaving the show completely.
In case you missed it, Evan was asked by Extra on the red carpet at WonderCon if he would be making an appearance in AHS: 1984, to which he replied: "No, I'm going to sit a season out."
Over the past year, Evan has been pretty open about the emotional toll that the anthology series - and the characters he has played - has taken on him. So much so that he revealed that he would be taking a break from acting in an interview with GQ. He didn't specify how long he'd be stepping away from his heavier roles for, leaving fans to speculate over his future on AHS.
Speaking to Digital Spy in a new interview about his film Dark Phoenix, Evan was asked if he would consider returning to the anthology series in the future and guys, it sounds like good news.
"Yeah, absolutely, never say never," Evan said about coming back to the series. "I just... Yeah, we'll see what happens."
Evan is such a pivotal and important part of AHS and, if he were to miss out on being involved in the tenth season of the show, it would be devastating for fans. But, at the end of the day, it's up to him and we will continue to stan whatever his decision may be.
Of course, Evan's involvement in season 10 all depends on what Ryan Murphy cooks up for him. He could return with a main role, a supporting role or even just a small two-episode arc. You never know.
So far, a handful of cast members have been teased for AHS: 1984 including Emmaa Roberts and Gus Kenworthy. Sarah Paulson told Syfy Wire that she doesn't even know if she's in it yet.
