The Kissing Booth’s Joey King sparks romance rumours with Taylor Zakhar Perez

Joey King and Taylor Zakhar Perez have sparked dating rumours after getting close to each other on Instagram.

The Kissing Booth 2 is finally out and fans think Joey King may be in a relationship with her new co-star Taylor Zakhar Perez.

Netflix viewers will likely be well-aware that on-set romance is nothing new when it comes to The Kissing Booth franchise. In 2018, news emerged that Joey King (Elle) was dating her on-screen love interest Jacob Elordi (Noah) in real life and fans fell in love with the two of them. People couldn't get over how adorable they were together and the story of how they met.

However, in 2019, Joey and Jacob broke up. Since then both stars have remained private about their romantic lives but now fans think that Joey is seeing Taylor Zakhar Perez who plays Marco in The Kissing Booth 2. Elle and Marco get very close in The Kissing Booth 2 and it looks likely Joey and Taylor might have gotten very close off-screen too.

Is Joey King dating Taylor Zakhar Perez?

Over the weekend (Jul 25), Joey posted a brand new photo on her Instagram Stories of her cuddling Taylor with the caption: "Got tested just so we could hug today". She then posted another cute pic of them adding: "favourite weirdo".

On Joey's birthday (July 30), Taylor also wrote a heartfelt message to her, saying: "Happy Friggen Birthday @joeyking Honestly I could write about this woman all day. She is the reason I joined the KB2 family, she welcomed me with open arms and love, she supported me, she pushed me, she made me laugh (like pee my pants laughter and had to check my underwear), she inspired me to be a better actor, she shared her family with me, THE LIST GOES ON. Grateful for you forever."

In the comments, Joey replied: "Can’t imagine my life without you. I heart you T."

Naturally, fans immediately started losing it and began reading into all of their social media antics. The two of them regularly comment on each others Instagram posts and have been spotted hanging out a lot since filming the movie.

As it stands, Joey hasn't commented publicly on the multiple rumours surrounding the nature of their relationship. However, Taylor recently told Glamour that he's "not dating anyone". Then when asked if he'd ever date a fan, Taylor responded: "I’m a fan of Joey and wish that she would date me, you know what I mean?"

Have Taylor and Joey just got together?

For now, it looks like we'll be kept in the dark but, if those photos and Taylor's comments are anything to go by, we wouldn't be surprised if they are secretly in a relationship. We shall keep you posted with any updates.
