Lady Gaga: "I Want To Star In A Bollywood Film"

The 'Marry The Night' singer has fallen in love with Indian culture.

Lady Gaga has admitted she would love to star in a Bollywood film.

The 'You & I' singer professed her love for the Hindi-language films having recently watched one during a trip to France.

"I recently saw a Bollywood show in Paris and my interest in India has peaked. I would like to do a Bollywood film. I am fascinated by the dance and the clothing, " she told The Sun.

She added: "I am so inspired by the country. It's music, styles and countryside."

The 'Born This Way' star also admitted that she has been offered numerous movie roles in the past with none fitting the bill.

It's also good news for her fans in the country as she is planning on performing for free the next time she returns.

She confessed: "I want to do a free show for all my fans the next time I visit."

After performing in the country for the first time in New Dehli last year she took to her Twitter account to profess her new found love for the India.

"Screw Hollywood – it's all about Bollywood," she tweeted.

Meanwhile, Gaga recently performed in New York's Times Square to help ring in the new year and also hosted an after party for an array of her celebrity friends at her restaurant in the city.
