The couple are reportedly hoping to make a music first by filming in the unique location.
Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z are apparently lining up a musical first by becoming the first artists to film a music video from space.
The couple reportedly want to take the flight on Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic Craft and plans are already taking shape.
A source told The Sun: "The label people have been talking about making a music video in space. Beyonce and Jay-Z seemed the obvious option. Everything is being done to make it happen."
The pair recently announced the news of the birth of their first child Blue Ivy Carter who was born last Saturday (7th January).
Celebrities and fellow musicians have been tweeting their well wishes to the couple since news broke of the birth, however, 50 Cent was one star who seemed to take a negative approach to the news after he posted a spoof picture of the new born baby on his Twitter account.
